Microchip Named to "50 Best Companies to Sell For" List by Selling Power Magazine for Third Consecutive Year

Microchip Technology Inc. , a leading provider of microcontroller, mixed-signal, analog and Flash-IP solutions, today announced that it was selected for the 2015 "Selling Power 50 Best Companies to Sell For" list, for the third straight year.

The corporate research team at Selling Power magazine identified and ranked the best companies to sell for, among the top sales forces in the United States. Microchip ranked 11th, moving up six places from 2014, and is still the only semiconductor company on the list.

Selling Power chose companies based on customer growth and retention; hiring, compensation, training and enablement; and company recognition and reputation. The list includes companies of all sizes, with sales forces ranging from fewer than 100 to those in the thousands.

"I want to congratulate our entire sales and applications team, and all of our divisions, who work closely together on our efforts to support Microchip's more than 90,000 customers around the world," said Steve Sanghi, Microchip president and CEO. "This is a wonderful achievement and testament to the great teamwork and culture in the only non-commissioned sales force in the semiconductor industry. You have earned this prestigious honor, which speaks to the strong values we have built together at Microchip."
